1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Minnesota Renovation Group (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Minnesota Renovation Group is a lead matching platform that connects homeowners seeking renovation services with vetted, licensed renovation contractors in the Minnesota metropolitan area. We facilitate introductions but do not perform renovation work ourselves.

3. Homeowner Terms

• The Service is free for homeowners. You will never be charged for submitting a project or receiving quotes.
• You may be matched with a licensed renovation contractor based on your project details.
• We do not guarantee contractor availability, pricing, or project outcomes.
• You are under no obligation to hire any contractor matched through our service.

4. Contractor Terms

• Network membership is by invitation only. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance.
• There are no membership fees. Contractors pay per-lead claim fees ranging from $100 to $300 depending on lead score and project scope. Upon closing a job, a 10% commission on the invoice amount applies, minus the claim fee already paid for that lead.
• Claim fees are non-refundable except in cases of verified invalid leads (wrong contact information, duplicates, or fraudulent submissions).
• Contractors must maintain a valid Minnesota contractor license and general liability insurance at all times while in the network.
• We reserve the right to remove contractors from the network at our discretion for violations of these terms or quality standards.

5. Accuracy of Information

Users are responsible for providing accurate project details and contact information. Deliberately false or misleading submissions may result in removal from the service.

6. No Guarantee

While we vet all contractors in our network for licensing, insurance, and reputation, we do not guarantee the quality of workmanship, pricing, or timeliness of any contractor. Contractors are independent businesses and are solely responsible for the services they provide.

7. Payment Terms

Lead claim fees and commissions are processed through Stripe. Claim fees are non-refundable except for verified invalid leads, which may be disputed through the contractor dashboard. Credit disputes must be filed within 7 days of the claim. Commissions (10% of invoice minus claim fee) are invoiced upon reporting a closed job.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology on this website are the property of Minnesota Renovation Group and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

Minnesota Renovation Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages related to contractor performance, project outcomes, or loss of data.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Contractors may be removed from the network for failing to meet our quality standards, licensing requirements, or for violating these Terms.
